Posted by Admin on May 18, 2009 in Kitchen Sink, Ramblings

It will soon be Memorial Day. Time for us that are living Free to remember why. It is not about politics, it is about answering the call. Without the heroes that provide that answer we would have kissed freedom goodbye long ago.

This is my memorial day tribute. It is for my daughter Mia. She will turn 18 years old During Basic training in the Army National Guard. She is a citizen, she is a soldier, she lives by a creed that ensures why we continue to enjoy the freedoms that we have.

To every Man, Woman and Child that has stood tall to protect us all. Past, Present and Future Heroes… Thank you and may God protect you as you protect us.

This Memorial day, let us remember that freedom is NOT FREE, but bought with the resolve, the compassion and the blood of our Guardians regardless of branch. They ALL deserve our respect and support Every Day, Every Hour and Forever!

I am an American Soldier.

I am a Warrior and member of a team.I serve the people of the United States and live the Army Values.I will always place the mission first.I will never accept defeat.I will never quit.I will never leave a fallen comrade.

I am disciplined,. physically and mentally tough, trained and proficient in my warrior tasks and drills. I always maintain my arms, my equipment and myself.I am an expert and I am a professional.I stand ready to deploy, engage, and destroy the enemies of the United States of America in close combat.I am guardian of freedom and the American way of life.

Additude as a choice

Posted by Admin on Apr 1, 2009 in Kitchen Sink

John is the kind of guy you love to hate. He is always in a good mood
and always has something positive to say. When someone would ask him how
he was doing, he would reply, "If I were any better, I would be twins!"

He was a natural motivator.

If an employee was having a bad day, John was there telling the employee
how to look on the positive side of the situation.

Seeing this style really made me curious, so one day I went up and asked
him, "I don’t get it!

You can’t be a positive person all of the time How do you do it?"

He replied, "Each morning I wake up and say to myself, you have two
choices today. You can choose to be in a good mood or …. you can
choose to be in a bad mood

I choose to be in a good mood."

Each time something bad happens, I can choose to be a victim or…I can
choose to learn from it. I choose to learn from it.

Every time someone comes to me complaining, I can choose to accept their
complaining or… I can point out the positive side of life. I choose
the positive side of life.

"Yeah, right, it’s not that easy," I protested.

"Yes, it is," he said. "Life is all about choices. When you cut away all
the junk, every situation is a choice. You choose how you react to
situations. You choose how people affect your mood.

You choose to be in a good mood or bad mood. The bottom line: It’s your
choice how you live your life."

I reflected on what he said. Soon hereafter, I left the Tower Industry
to start my own business. We lost touch, but I often thought about him
when I made a choice about life instead of reacting to it.

Several years later, I heard that he was involved in a serious accident,
falling some 60 feet from a communications tower.

After 18 hours of surgery and weeks of intensive care, he was released
from the hospital with rods placed in his back.

I saw him about six months after the accident.

When I asked him how he was, he replied, "If I were any better, I’d be
twins..Wanna see my scars?"

I declined to see his wounds, but I did ask him what had gone through
his mind as the accident took place.

"The first thing that went through my mind was the well-being of my
soon-to-be born daughter," he replied. "Then, as I lay on the ground, I
remembered that I had two choices: I could choose to live or..I could
choose to die. I chose to live."

"Weren’t you scared? Did you lose consciousness?" I asked

He continued, "…the paramedics were great.

They kept telling me I was going to be fine. But when they wheeled me
into the ER and I saw the expressions on the faces of the doctors and
nurses, I got really scared. In their eyes, I read ‘he’s a dead man’. I
knew I needed to take action."

"What did you do?" I asked.

"Well, there was a big burly nurse shouting questions at me," said John.
"She asked if I was allergic to anything ‘Yes, I replied.’ The doctors
and nurses stopped working as they waited for my reply. I took a deep
breath and yelled, ‘Gravity’"

Over their laughter, I told them, "I am choosing to live. Operate on me
as if I am alive, not dead."

He lived, thanks to the skill of his doctors, but also because of his
amazing attitude…. I learned from him that every day we have the
choice to live fully.

Attitude, after all, is everything

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about
itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34.

After all today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.

You have two choices now:

01. Ignore this

02. share it with others

What do You Choose?

The Traffic Jam

Posted by Admin on Apr 1, 2009 in Kitchen Sink

A driver is stuck in a traffic jam going into downtown Chicago. Nothing is moving north or south. Suddenly a man knocks on his window.

The driver rolls down his window and asks, ‘What happened, what’s the hold Up?’

‘Terrorists have kidnapped Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, Rosie O’Donnell, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. They are asking for a $10 Million ransom. Otherwise, they are going to douse them with gasoline and Set them on fire. We are going from car to car, taking up a collection.’

The driver asks, ‘On average, how much is everyone giving?’

‘About a gallon.’

Mirage-Net Releases New Monthly Payment Plan for Website Builder/CMS

Posted by Admin on Mar 2, 2009 in Kitchen Sink

MyPHPSiteBuilder is loaded with features that allow the non technical person to easily build a database driven website with no coding knowledge. Now even more affordable with a new payment plan.

For Immediate Release:

United States of America (Press Release) March 2, 2009 –
Palm Springs, CA – March 02, 2009 – The need for an easy-to-use website builder
for the non-technical user prompted the release of MyPHPSiteBuilder, which enables fully functional data driven websites to be built with no programming knowledge.

MyPHPSiteBuilder offers an easy to use administration panel that provides complete control of the site’s appearance including font size and type face, all colors used in the site, the general layout, and even the built-in features that are used. It has the ability to create and edit an unlimited number of pages just by adding content and choosing a design style from a variety of templates, or uploading graphics and files to create a custom design.

Other features include banner display on rotation, banner advertising tracking, warm market data collection with optional sales lead rotation, and sales support. Contact, terms of service and privacy notice pages are pre-written and created instantly by filling out a simple form. MyPHPSiteBuilder can be used to manage appointments and contacts, access domain email and statistics, and easily create and manage the content of a site’s forms and FAQ pages from the simple account administration panel.

As more and more Internet users and site developers began using an ever growing collection of free and low cost web site "Builders" and "Content Managers", Mirage-Net spent more time on damage repair and re-programming rather than on new development. By trying to save money, users were spending twice as much in the long run for a professional site, settling for less or spending hours trying to learn a new site building program only to get frustrated and give up. It became obvious that it was time for a solution and the development of MyPHPSiteBuilder is the answer. Even inexperienced users can now have all the features of a large company website without the large company price. Even better, a new payment plan has been made available to make it even more affordable in these financially trying times.

Mirage-Net’s experience in developing successful professional sites and custom database applications has now given Internet users and business owners a way to have a professional web presence without the expense of working with designers and developers or the time consumption learning how to do it themselves, and the expense of paying someone to make simple content changes.

R. “Michael” Baird, the developer of MyPHPSiteBuilder stated “The time has come for a product like this that will enable the end user to easily do what used to take many hours and/or many dollars to accomplish.”

Free, Proud and THANKFUL!

Posted by Admin on Feb 15, 2009 in Kitchen Sink

Hi everyone.

Just wanted to share something that has been rewarding for me and my family. We are not over politically people, nor do we necessarily believe in the deployment of some of our troops. HOWEVER we DO believe IN OUR TROOPS!

They are doing their job, proudly, with courage and resolve. THEY are why we are free. Why we have the right to complain. Why we are free to disagree, without them we would not HAVE these rights we so often take for granted.

Freedom is NOT free, ask a soldier, or ask the family of one of our fallen heroes!

It’s time that YOU and YOURS said thank you. We have adopted a deployed soldier and are proud to say so. We are also organizing a local drive to outfit and send care packages.

YOU can Get Involved. Simply click the image below, and Do your part!

Thank you to all that serve, have served and gave their lives in the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, we love and support you!

Re-Seller Program Review

Posted by Admin on Feb 2, 2009 in Kitchen Sink

It never ceases to amaze me that highly skilled and intelligent people overlook some of the most sound ideas and opportunities simply because at first glance “They Don’t Get It” And oh so often the real gold nuggets are the ones covered in dust, and the real “Shiners” are nothing but fool’s gold!

I am going to explore a reseller opportunity that fits the above model pretty tightly. The BizWebSolution Reseller program! This program has to do with the re-sale of a diamond in the rough Content Management / Layout System for producing a highly scalable and professionally presented web-site.

This is NOT some affiliate program that pays some % of sales,(They do have that option), they don’t even pay a commission! What they DO is to provide their resellers 1 FREE system for every 3 they sell.

THIS is where most people “don’t see it” and miss out in a BIG way!

The re-sellers cost is $700.00 and they can SELL IT for however Much they Want! For the purpose of this review I will put a resell sticker price of 1200$ (below market value).

So the reseller sells 1 that costs them 700$ and sells for 1200$ leaving a net profit of 500$ for the Sale… Ok, now they sell 2 more making a total of 3, that is 500×3 (profit) making their net profit $1,500, but wait…. They sold 3 so they have a FREE one coming which they can resell to their NEXT customer.

Let’s say they sold 3, made a cool $1500.00 in profit and really want to land the next customer so they offer them the system at cost (700) and use their free one to fill the order, This is providing them $2,200.00 in profit on the sale of just 4 systems!

Sale 1 - Cost - 700 - Sold For- 1,200 - Profit 500
Sale 2 - Cost - 700 - Sold For- 1,200 - Profit 500
Sale 3 - Cost - 700 - Sold For- 1,200 - Profit 500
Sale 4 - Cost - 0 - Sold For- 700 - Profit 700

TOTALS:
Cost - 2,100 - Sales - 4,300 – Profit – 2,200.00

Even if you were to earn a 40% commission on sales instead, their program is far superior! (Who even pays  40% any more?)

Easy to see how a simple offer of sell 3 get 1 free can be over looked?

The above information is for “example” purposes only. Re-Sellers set their own prices, it does not take into account “Value Add On Services” like Content Management, Social Media Consulting, Fusion Sales and countless other up-sell & cross-sell opportunities.
.
The MyPHPSiteBuilder comes standard with 1 year free hosting (if desired), Free Upgrades, Free Support, several professionally designed themes and much more! The opportunity is here now for you to expand to more customers, spend less money & increase revenue, it really is up to you.
